Leap of Faith - Life with Yoga
It's been about 5 since I began teaching Yoga. It was the end of 2017 and I was feeling incredibly down about everything. Unfulfilled, and just all round felt like I was going no where. So I decided to take a break from media and throw myself into a Yoga Teacher Training, without knowing very much about it! (lol) #noregrets
I took a chance and decided to try something new, and without a doubt, I felt it in my bones and in my breath that I was meant to share.
(Fun fact, I had to study the practice and how to teach Yoga for the role 'Suzanne' on the show 'Tanglin'. She was part time yoga instructor in the show. She probably had a hand in my Yogi life)
I just love everything about Yoga, everyday I discover something new, I realise something about myself or think about something in a way that I never saw before. I've become more calm, focused, motivated, disciplined, light-hearted and at peace.
That's basically it, I love encouraging people to find strength and acceptance within themselves. To inspire people to share their gifts with one another. I love how Yoga inspires one to be better, to be kinder, to be the best version of themselves. I love how yoga brings us closer together, in the pursuit of wisdom and peace.
So, whether you've been to my class before, or know me from TV, or the world of social media, thank you for being here, and wanting to connect. I hope this platform will give us a chance to get to know each other more outside the classroom or the grids of Instagram. In the meantime, stay safe and be well, see you soon my friend.
With love,
Gayle
